Chrome Plating Durastop rotors

Chrome Plating Durastop rotors
Has anyone done this ?? I have a 2 month old set of the AC Delco
DuraStop Perfromance rotors, but they turn orange with top rust
in a few days here in SW FL....no one in this area seems to do zinc
washing, but one place will chrome plate....any feedback or
experiences would be appreciated :cheers:

I think that chrome would be way to smooth to provide good stopping power (although I have seen show rods with them) and it will be exposed to abrasion that would mar the finish......IMHO :cheers:

I had my Durastop rotors zinc plated before I mounted them.
They still look good after one year and 10,000 miles. :cool:

Call Gator Plating in Coral Springs FLorida. They did my Durastops. Mine were rusted to shiite before I got disgusted and had them plated. They charged about $200 bucks for all 4..
