ls1 heads
What's the difference between the different years of ls1 heads? Will any year head work or do you need any modifications? Can f-body and Corvette ls1 heads be used on either car? :confused:

97-98 the LS1 heads used perimeter bolts style valve cover. While the 99+ use the newer style centerbolt. Thats the most noticeable difference when looking at them. The 00+s have a undercut valv from the factory resulting in about a pick up from 15-20 cfm in the heads. Those are the ones that I know of so far, I know there are other differences.
