Z06 Transmission ???
We put a Z06 transmission in my 97 C5 last year. It didn't hold up to the 500 hp very well. It needs some major TLC VERY soon. My husband thinks he read on here something about putting a Vipor fork in it to make it stronger. Does anyone know anything about it?

He is talking about a steel shift fork for the 3-4 gears. The stock shift fork is some kind of plastic material. You can buy the steel fork for around 150 bucks, but the install is a ton. You would be better just doing that when you do the syncros after it craters. It will cost you around 1900 for a blueprinted transmission.
