Neon gill mod update
Actually I have run into one minor problem.. The set I ordered has one transformer for both lights.. I wanted to mount the xformer in the battery compartment but I found that that the driver side bulb had too short of a power cord. So I extended it. Well now the bulb wont light caus the cord is too long.. I called Street Glow..HE suggested buying another xformer because the bulbs cant be far from it…Less than 3’

All in all if you ordered what I posted and did not open it. Return it. Street Glow makes another product line called OPTX and it’s sold at Discount Auto Parts They are the exact same 9” tubes only sold individually with their own transformer. They are about $21 each.. I wish I did it this way.

Anyway, that being said..I just bought a single tube and pulled the transformer out of it.. Now I have a spare tube.
I plan to mount each transformer on the backside of the plastic shroud that the bulb is mounted to. Then run the power to the fuse block in the battery compartment.
It’s a 10amp fuse location #6 for the fog lights. The Neons draw VERY little power. So you can tap into the fuse and have the neons turn on when the fogs are on. Which also turn on when you unlock using the keyfob.

Green Neon would look Sweet in the Mean Green mobile...
Ok check this out.. Get NOS installed. Put the purge valve reliefs in the gills. This will have the best effect at night..
Get to the staging lane...Flick on the Green Neons... and Purge your NOS! the light will set the fog glowing. Your car will look like a Dragon breathing smoke.. You can't tell me that is rice..

Hey, I have the dual purge setup in my side vents and I must say it is the coolest thing I have ever seen with these cars! My friends get a kick out of it. It is a bad mod to do b/c you end up wasting all of your nitrous purging to impress your buddies and warn off rice mobiles. :lol:
