Getting Borla duel tip Stinger
OK finally getting away from stock exhaust. I don't want to do away with cats so I'm thinking of taking out H pipe and changing to X pipe,I've read that this helps the sound. What would ya'll recommend. I'm leaning towards Magnaflow but any recommendations will be considered.

Well I got the duel tip stingers yesterday, THANKS Darwin Barbosa, had them installed today. YEEEEE HAAAAAW they sound great!! I haven't done the x pipe yet,just want to get a feel for the sound. I may do that later. Now the vette sounds like it should!

:cheers: on your exhaust choice! wish I could advise on the x, but I'm running stingers with stock h and like them just fine. :D

I have had my two tip stingers on for about a month. I am very pleased with them! I have the H pipe on, (as I understand it the 97's have a larger pipe)
At WOT, it is great, and it not much louder than stock at 80! Enjoy your new system! :cool: I bought mine on a GP from Extreme, they have been great to deal with. :cheers:

:cheers: Thanks for the replies,I'm really looking forward to getting them on. A friend has them on his vette and they definatly make a difference in the sound. I guess I need to find a good place to get the x-pipe.

I have heard both....that the X pipe helps with popping and that it helps somewhat but not completely....I didn't add an X pipe and the pop doesn't bother me...
