What makes it an LS1 or LS6? Is it acceptible to change the heads? How about the valvetrain, intake manifold, pistons, rods, crank, and cam? Are any mods other than the block acceptible?

I made 415 RWHP with LS6 heads and cam. Carteks are putting down 440-450 RWHP.

Try 528 RWHP and 520 RWT, and yes, it's a Cartek product (Stage 4 C5R 427, pump gas, mufflers, no cats, MN6, 3.42).

I got a little more than that ;) . The sig says it all. My cartek rev2 x package put down 472.3rwhp and 422.3 rwtq. That is with a stock bottom end, 4.10 gears, and a full exhaust with mufflers. I think these are the highest numbers for a 346 out there but we are not done yet. I may try a set of TPIS headers to see if the backpressure from a small set will help a 346. :cheers:
