Default Blackwing install question

When installing a Blackwing air filter on a 2002 C5 is it necessary to do a C5 idle relearn? I think that it is needed in earlier C5s but what about 2002s?

It isn't necessary on any year of C5. The only point in an idle relearn is to hurry the process. It'll learn on its own over the first 50 miles or so.

:iagree: You don't need to do that. You could if you want, but it's not necessary. Your computer will learn on it's own. The only thing is, it depends on your vette...it could be 50 miles or 100 miles, but you'll feel the difference when it happens.

When I did the idle relearn process, I didn't look at it doing "Work", it was a damn good excuse to get out and go driving. :D  :steering:
