Default CARTEK CUSTOMERS PLEASE CHIME IN

I have ordered my H/C package from CARTEK and am starting to get nervous due to the fact that I ordered my parts right after the 1st of the month and only some of them have come in. I did a lot of research prior to ordering anything and even asked CARTEK customers about their experiences and never heard a bad word. I feel that I bought the best and fastest H/C package that my budget would allow but am getting concerned about the delivery time of my product. Can anyone tell me have they had to wait this long for their parts and most importantly will it be wort it. Thank you, Bob I would also like to make sure to note that I am not bashing CARTEK at all esp. not Dave, I would say he is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever talked with.

Julio and Roy have been away and that may have cause a delay. What exactly are you waiting on. Cartek usually does have a slight wait time for their parts due to that not everyone gets the same exact thing done. Trust me it will be more than worth it.

Thank both of you for the reply, I think I'm just a little frustrated cuz my motor has been out of the car for three weeks now and the only part that showed up today was the clutch, I was hoping for the head gaskets and bolts so my mechanic could start installing the heads. Dave has been out of the office all day today so I can't get a tracking number on the last box of parts. I've seen many CARTEK customers post great 1/4 mile times and my goal is to get in the tens with them this year, part of it might be my wife pissing and moaning about the cash I dropped this year and my car is still in pieces. I'll just have to suck it up and wait for the big smile as I fly the the traps. Bob

I have a 408 from them and they had a problem getting a part or two in. It wasn't on Cartek's side, it was the vendor that was the problem. I had to wait 6 weeks longer than originally told. I know exactly how you feel, I felt the same way. It's hard to be away from your baby for that long of a time. All I can say is try to be patient and when you do get the car back it will have been worth the wait. I think I going to need to replace my drivers seat soon because the car pulls so damm hard.

Good luck.

Delivery and production delays are not out of the ordinary when dealing with low volume items. I'm sure Dave will take care of you.

I'll be WELL worth the wait!!!

It took them about a week longer that I had orig. been told. But I did get everything at once. I got the 2X package and an intake. I have just got my hp numbers today and they seem very low. My peak rwhp was only 401. I have not picked up th car yet or seen the A/F numbers but I will tommoow.

As the posts above indicate, the results are worth a little extra time. The Cartek crew are very good at what they do and are completely dedicated to customer satisfaction, but supplier performance isn't under4 their control. This ain't fast food.
