Default Recommendations for Non-Run Flat Emergency Kit???

It won't be that much longer before I switch to non-run flats on my Coupe, so I'm planning ahead.

What's does your emergency kit contain?

I know I'll need a compressor and some form of quick-plug kit. I'll have the pressure sensors, so I can't use that goop stuff.

What do you all recommend as far as brands?

I just want something that will allow me to drive it straight to a tire repair place in case I get a nail or something and the tire immediately starts deflating. What about a small jack? Will I need one to help look for the nail or whatever? What have your experiences been concerning that?

Thanks for the info!

p.s. The tires I'm currently leaning towards are those new GY F1s in my stock sizes for now.

2 cans of fix-a-flat here.

I have the sensors in mine, but I'm not going to be stuck on the side of the road at god knows what time of the night or location trying to plug or patch a tire.
If I get a flat and have to destroy a $42 sensor to get me home, so be it.

Get the small jack offered on the forum by frederick. I carry a 8" square piece of plywood for a jacking surface Don't forget the lug wrench (Gorilla) just in case you need to take the tire off to work on it. They sell a sidewall patch also. You probably know all this but...anything else?

I thought those sensors were over $100/piece. If it's just $42, no big deal then. However, once you get the tire home or to the shop, is there any reason to get the fix-a-flat stuff out of the tire prior to it being properly fixed (if possible) and if so, is it even possible to get that stuff out once it dries? Any problems with using a "fix-a-flat"-fixed tire with the new sensor?

Thanks.

I have just gotton new wheels and will be going with the non runflats and am putting together my tools. I just bought a campbell hausfield compressor at Walmart for $20. It has a built in pressure gauge and a light that can be either a flashing red light or a solid flashlight. When you get your new plug kit, DO NOT get the kit with handles like a screwdriver. Get the one with the handles like a pistol grip. If you have ever used the two you will know that pushing the plugs in can take a lot of pressure and the screwdriver type will hurt your hands. Have a pair of needlenose and sidecutters to cut off the excess plug and remove the nail. I wasn't thinking I would need a jack or lugwrench but I think I will check into it just in case. If they don't take up to much room it would be worth it.

Any particular brand compressor, patch kit, jack you recommend? Good idea about the soapy water!

Thanks!

Fix a flat once put in your tire and you drive, will be pushed away from the wheel into the tire well. I'd think you'd not have any tire pressure sensor damage.
