Anyone know how to straighten frame?
Friend of mine took a nasty pot hole on his left side of the his C5. Now when he's going faster then 50mph he's getting a whistling sound from the inside. We narrowed it down to where the frame is bent and the air is leaking from the targa top. The whole body is slightly off ie. the gap on his trunk with the lid closed is wider the on the other side, and same goes for the hood when it's closed. Any ideas if the frame can be bent back into shape by the dealer or other means?

take it to a body shop, they have frame machines to do the job

the frame in the vette is made of high strength steel,Make sure the frame man has at a minimum ASE frame certification! I-CAR certi would also be nice,make sure you get a printout of before an after frame dimentions,hope this helps,thanks steve :seeya
