Replacing riser motor in driver's seats...anyone?
Well, I had to take my C5 to the dealer and they replaced the riser motors in my driver's seats. I did not notice until I sat in a different C5 over the weekend to realize that the front of my seat that support the front of my hamstrings did not rise up or down.
Everything else on the power seat worked fine. Has anybody experienced this? Is this a common problem?

Yes, there is a plastic "U" bracket that broke on mine. Ditto I never fool with this setting and it was replaced on warranty.

My rear riser is out on mine, discovered when I installed the wetokoles. The plastic thingy was broken. Had to have happened some time ago as the broken piece was nowhere to be found. Since I never adjust that part of the seat, I don't worry about it. The whole seat moves up and down, the front moves up and down and the seat moves forward and back just fine, and I don't have the rocking seat problem. Leaving well enough alone!!!
