HELP!!!! DRIVERS SIDE MIRROR IS SWINGING BOTH WAYS
Help me! I was in the garage yesterday and I was going to push the mirror in towards the door to get by and I discovered that the mirror was loose and could be pushed either way. I was able to pull the mirror up a little to look underneath but I could not really see or comprehend how the mirror attaches or how it maintains tension. I tried looking at the passenger mirror to see how it works but it did not help because the mirror could not be pulled up. If anyone knows anything about these mirrors please let me know. I don't want to have to take it to a dealer if its something simple that my eye is missing.

That happened to my previous vette and I had to replace the mirror. Do a search because somebody posted recently on this very issue.

Do a search there is a guy who says he can fix this problem for around $60.00 he has come up with a way to get the spring back in place and prevent this from happining again. $60.00 is alot cheeper than buying a new mirror having it painted than remove the old one insatll the new one well you get my drift do the search thing

Save you some money and send it to get fixed for $60. I think his name is Ed Swaneck. Search for "mirror fix" in the archives and you will find all the info you need. If you have any questions let me know. I had him fix mine.
