I'm selling the 2000 Coupe and want to remove the Powerloader tuning and restore to stock. Anyone know of a friendly Southern California delaer that will do this No Charge? I know the PL is VIN locked and useless to anyone else.

Hi Darrel.

I don't know of any CA. dealers that are THAT friendly unless your still under warrenty. If you are, you explain that you had the car dynoed and
it showed KA and the tech said to take it back to the dealer. It worked for
me. No more PL. If not they charge anywhere from $60 to $80.

Good Luck.

There is really no point to flashing back to stock...Unless the car was having problems with the PL code or it drastically changed the drivability I would not bother.

Unless you sell the car to somebody who has no appreciation for performance (Kinda silly when you think about it..) :D

Leave the Power Loader in the glove box. And tell the new owner..If the dealer ever flashes your car and "DECREASES" the performance on him. That little PL box will restore it.. LOL

It's all in the spin... ;)
