Default Are crankcase pressure and oil pressure the same thing?

I recently did some work on my throttle body where I filled the PVC hole with putty (left a small hole for air to pass through) and my oil pressure looks like it runs a lot higher now. I can only think that the small hole is not allowing enough air into the PVC system, causing crankcase pressure to rise - but is this what is making the oil pressure go up?

The answer to your question is no.Oil pressure is fluid measurement from your oil pump. Crankcase pressure is atmospheric, air pressure inside your motor. don't the answer to why your oil pressure went up. May have something to do with your mod, and then again may not...
