Default LS1 to LS6 problem

i am changing my intake to ls6 but i didn't know that I had to change the coolent pipe and use the plugs, the problem is I cant find these parts here i have to get em from the states and it will take time, so is there away around that, can I modify the pipes on the ls1 to work with ls6 intake or shall i wait for the parts

you can have plugs made out of the ends of your existing coolant pipe assembly. the two back ends/fittings can be cut from the rest of the pipe assembly and welded closed. this way you retain the fitting and o-ring and use it as a basic plug. you can then modify the rest of your assembly by cutting away the center pipe, weld shut the hole so that you basically have a single bypass at the front that goes from one head to the other under the TB. so just take you coolant pipe assemby to a local welder to help you with this mod. no problem!!
