Default New Best ET with Current Mods

Hey,

Finally got to the track with these mods:
3.73, TPIS Headers, LS6 Intake Manifold, Halltech Tric, Borla XR1, Drag Radials, and Line Lock.

I dont have the slip right in front of me but I got a 12.403 @ 113.7x
60 ft was a 1.9x
My problem was that I was launching in comp mode and as many of you know the 00 and older C5s...when you powerbrake even in comp mode it wont let the tires spin at all so doing the power brake didnt really help. I had it in comp mode and one foot on brake and the other on gas...since it wont let the tires spin....I had my foot all the way down on the gas(WOT) but only would raise to 1000RPM because it wouldnt allow it to spin and kinda felt like it was bogging down the car.

But anyways....Im happy! a 12.40 with a 1.9 60 foot! I can easliy get a 12.3x in the car if I launch with TC/AH totally off but wasnt too comfortable with doing that yet. Maybe next time.

All that with a stock Torque Converter. But now my Drag Radials are toally gone-with the line lock its so easy and fun  to do burnouts.

Ill be gone until September-leaving in 2 weeks...so when I get back Im looking to get my Torque Converter finally done from ECS and a new set of Drag Radials.

Congrats on the new time :D

What kinda weather were you in and do you know the elevation of the track and dba :D

My normal runs are in the 12.8s with an intake/exhaust/programming, and ran a best of 12.477 on street tires  :D

I'm getting ready to install the same set of mods, plus a converter and hope to be in the 11s regardless of weather conditions :D

And I think that the AH/TC is working against you more than you think....get a few more runs in and get comfortable, then turn it off and get in the 11s :D

If you get a little loose, just get outta the run all togther

Three questions:

What RPM were you launching at?

Why were you afraid of turning off the T/C?

What year were you born?

Mean..... It was prob about 65-70 degrees outside and getting hotter towards the end of the day. I have no clue on elevation and dba.

Anyone in maryland know what dba and elevation Capitol Raceway is.
Next time I will take AH/TC completely off and see how much better I do.

Bglmn....With Comp Mode...It would only rev to 1,000-1,200 even with the peddle all the way down. Because first gen active handling is different than second gen. First gen AH still wont let you powerbrake.

I wasnt afraid to turn TC off...Ive ran down the track with it off before. But after getting the 3.73s...it hauls. And I want to make sure i'm fully comfortable with the 3.73s and new mods before I take it completely off. Even with my 335 Michelin Pilot Sports on the street....when I go WOT-im spinning all over the place. So I just wanted to be safe.

And your third question....
