Advice for brake pad change needed........
I am changing my pads and was wondering if the setup on the C5 was any different than other disc brake equiped cars. Is there anything I should look out for? Also is there anywhere to get a step by step guide?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Sam

I did the fronts - very easy! Took longer to get the car in the air (Rhino ramps then floor jack) and the wheels off then to change the pads!

Are Raybesto Quiet Stops better than the Hawk Street pads I'm about to install?

QS are great for less dust, but mine and two other C5's in my area are squeeling like pigs on the rears.

I have the Hawk HPS pads and they work great. The Raybestos dust less but also don't stop quite as well either. The Hawk pads dust but it gets less and less as the pads bed in and I wash the car regularly anyways.

I had the Hawk street pads and am noe going with the Performance pads. I didn't do the pad swap last time because I was having Rotors and Brake lines installed.
Is it normal to go through brake pads every 9k?
