The stock size is 1/2" so that is what I would recommend. It might be kind of hard to re-install the bushings on the 9/16" bolt. I would definitely get fine threaded grade-8 bolts with nylon locknuts. You can get them from McMaster-Carr or any industrial hardware dealer. I think ACE carries them too. If you haven't already lowered your car with the stock bolts, you can drop it 1-2" with the 6.5" bolts. This gives you plenty of adjustment range. Stock bolts will give you about an inch of drop.
