I am sure this has been asked before, but...... is there a web site I can go to to look up service bulletins?
My 03 Z06 with only 1600 miles is at the dealer for the 3rd time to fix a leak between the transmission and the rear end. Have put in new seals and a new extension housing on the last two trips. They say they are checking with Chevrolet to find out how to fix this.
The smart !@#$% service director told me today "there is always the lemon law". Thanks.

Ummm I don't know the website but I'd look on GM's or Chevy's website. And I would definitely report this dealer to GM/Chevy for that rude and uncalled for comment by the service guy. I'd also complain to the owner of the dealership then I'd go find a new dealership. That's :bs what he said to you. I'm sorry for the problem with you Vette, hopefully it gets fixed soon.

There are no bulletins for this concern as of yet but GM is aware of the situation beig out there. Last I heard there was a fix in the works.

Oh yeah, this isn't over by a long shot. I understand cars have problems but I won't take garbage from this guy!

Why don't you call GM Customer assistance line in your owners manual and tell them a guy at the dealership (use his name) suggested you pursue the lemon law....that may do a couple of things.... ;) Good luck!!!!

Try Shawn at LAPD. He sent me a nice neat list of every TSB published for the 1999 model year. Was of great help at the dealer. They fixed every TSB on my 99 even though I wasn't experiencing any visible problems except for the seat bolsters wearing (replaced with the new improved covers) and headlight bezel plug that was missing (replaced both bezels). The only TSB they didn't correct was the one for "RAIL DUST" and I had it bad.

Good luck.

Harris, you might consider E-mailing Ken Fitchner about the TSB. "The General" put the Kabash on his weekly newsletter TSB info but he may privately let you know.....He's an OK guy :yesnod:
