Default New supporting vendor!

Hello,

I am happy to announce I am a new Supporting Vendor of Corvetteforum.com! Our products have been mentioned on this forum before however to be fair to other vendors I have waited until becoming an official supporter of the forum before responding. Now that I have, I will be happy to answer any questions about our product.

A little background. Our StopFORCE 2 piece brake rotor upgrades have been shipping since March of this year with great success. We have been issued preliminary four digit patent number be the United States Patent office for our rotor hat design. Our website lists our detailed experience with brake upgrades for the C5 Corvette and I encourage anyone considering front brake upgrades to take 10 minutes of their time and read our website.

Since the creation of our kit I have been notified of another company who had this basic idea over a year ago. However after purchasing the competitors product recently I feel we have a much lighter, cost efficient and higher quality complete rotor package available.

Please visit our website at http://www.stopforce.com

Thanks for everyone’s interest in our product. Being an avid C5 owner for over 3 years now I continue to enjoy the benefits this forum offers its members.

Aaron Lephart

Hello johnnyvettes,

Currently this brake setup is for the front only. I've been kicking around the idea of making a setup for the rear.

As for a GP. Now that the US patent office has come through with patent numbers I feel much more comfortable with distributing these brakes in large quantities. I would like to cordinate a GP through L.A.P.D. once the product evaluation has been completed from them. I am definatly excited to work with a company like Shawns who has an established chain of customers to offer this product to.

Thanks,
Aaron Lephart

i think you will find that vette owners in general are just as interested in looks as well as performance. i think a matching set of rear rotors will do good things for sales as that would definitely be more aesthetically pleasing. just can't beat a mod that offers good looks and performance to boot. :yesnod:

Hello Aaron!,

I don't know if you remember me but I bought your brakes for my best friend a few weeks ago as a present. Your weren't kidding……the brakes held up great at his V.I.R. trackday. Thanks for your prompt shipment and your technical expertise when I called you with torque specs for the caliper bracket bolt. I don't think BAER would have answered my phone call at 10pm (your time) with such a request! Not having a C5 myself and doing this for a friend I had no idea what to tighten that bolt to. If you have the chance………could you send me some more business cards in the mail? I gave the last few I had out at a local Corvette club meet and greet.

Thanks,
Kurt

Aaron,

Your rotors look real  . Since you only make fronts right now, do you know what your clients are running in the rear that are a close match? Baers perhaps?

Rich

Guys,

I have NOT seen the front rotors up close as of yet that Aaron has introduced, but by judging how Aaron speaks of them and going by how awesome they look in the pictures, we would be more than happy to test them out. We will report with all test results once we are done abusing them out on the track!

Haven't met Aaron in person, I can tell all of you he is one great guy and doing business with him wasn't even a question in my mind. We should have a set of his front rotors in this week. We will put them on one of our C5s and test them out with Hawk pads and see how they hold up to aggresive road race conditions.

Aaron, you seem very dedicated and passionate about these rotors. I know you have some hard aggressive track time on them and you have had positive feedback on them.

We will have them listed on our website as soon as we have a few sets in stock and ready to ship out.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to carry your great new product!

Shawn

To everyone above I have'nt thanked: Thanks for your kind comments. I'm glad to recieve such a warm response......its like I bought a C5 for the first time all over again!

WILDONETHIRTYSEVEN: It was a pleasure talking to you this afternoon. Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

99C5Richie: A few of our customers have opted to buy 2 sets of rotors and install a set of front calipers on the rear. I'm not a huge fan of this practice but if enough interest is out there I have considered producing rotor hats identical to the front but has an internal hub in order to maintain function of your parking brake. Those who chose not to put the front rotors on the rear have chosen to install rear BAER Eradispeed +1's or the standard rear Eradispeeds. I've even seen some cheaper brand crossdrilled rear rotors look rather stylish with the StopFORCE's on the front.

L.A.P.D.: I look forward to meeting you this week and deliver the rotors in person. As good as the rotors look on our website they truly look 10X better in person. So much in fact I plan on re-shooting all of the on car photos currently listed on our website. The pictures currently on our website are Ver 1.1 of our rotors and we are currently shipping Ver 1.2 which added zinc plating to the rotor surface, higher luster zinc plating on the rotor mounting hardware, laser etching of the StopFORCE insignia on the front and patent information on the back.

Here's a picture of the shiny "New and Improved" hardware: http://www.stopforce.com/images/hardware.jpg

Thanks,
Aaron Lephart
