I'm still trying to figure out to install and use mine (a buddy loaned me his). My first attempt at a 0-60 yielded me a 5.52. I was horrified. I'm discovering that it takes much skill to drive a MN6 quickly, the A4 guys just point and shoot.
It may not have been level and I really didn't get on very hard the first time out with it, plus there was some traffic I was concerned about.
Re: G-tech owners... post figures here! (BlackSun!)
The new competition model is extremely accurate. Some of my numbers are in my sig below. For those of you struggling to break into the 4s for 0-60, don't be discouraged, it does take a very strong launch. I have a friend with an LPE Supercharged C5 who couldn't break into the 4s with the stock run flats...

How accurate are these???
Thinking of getting one... :yesnod:
Very accurate... G-tech quote +/- 1-tenth for 0-60 and +/- 3BHP for power.
Although power is not quite so useful due to the measurement being net of aerodynamic and frictional losses. ET and trap speeds are also very accurate. I'd recommend it... even if just for novelty value :)

My best time with new tyres has been 5.46. I'm discouraged :(

Don't be; I uncorked a 4.7 my first time out after which I couldn't manage below a 5.0 for at least 20 attempts! I've now got it down to the point where I can hit 4.5-4.7 every time (with the Z06 that has much better and wider tires than a coupe) but it took about 40-50 attempts to get there.
Re: G-tech owners... post figures here! (Bertrand)
Get a Tazzo, more accurate and gives you 60 fts, by themselves, 0-60,1/8 and 1/4. When In ran mine at the track, it was spot on, right to the hundreth on the 60, within a couple hundredths on et and about 3/4 mile fast on mph. Much better construction than the G-tech Pro. My G-tech is now held together with duct tape and the wires have been resoldered three times. But it still works, but I much prefer the Tazzo...
Several 5.0x on 60's degree day 2001 A4, 3.15. Using ZO6 exhaust, blackwing, predator tuning, and the pvc mod thats supposed to make it sluggish. Leave at 1500 RPM and roll on the throttle. also a TPIS ported TB. These times are 0-60 MPH on a good clean road. May take off the PVC mod but I'd be amazed if it helped. :seeya
When I first got the car, I did some with a friend's Gtech
~500 miles - 0-60 in 5.0
~1500 miles - 0-60 in 4.8
~2500 miles - 0-60 in 4.6
Right around 2500 I also took it to the track and got a 13.0x@109.x
The road I did the runs on was pretty new asphalt...good grip, even with the runflats.
I got a G-tech of my own recently at about 25K miles. Best I've done so far is about a 5.0x, that's with Stingers, Vortex and Nitto 555's! I think it's the road though, just not good enough traction, too dirty. The car definitely pulls harder than new. I also get a little grind every time I do the 1-2 shift hard. What's up with that? A bad synchro?
A4 3.15 vararam and predator stock program with firmed up shifts. 57 degrees with brand new runflats.
just played around a bit with out the ballast (my son ;) )
0 - 60
4.71
5.5 to much burnout.
1/4's
13.04 113.7
13.22 110.8
13.27 111.8 (power braked it a bit and active handling kicked in cuz it went sideways a little)
13.26 111.5 head lights up.
and a couple of short runs for HP (with the headlights up)
up towards 95mph 295H
quit at the 2-3 shift 286H
I'll try that part again when the chance for deeries is a little smaller (daylight)
