Default My PCV mod not working..

Ok, like everyone else I did all the reading on the PCV in-line filter
and installed one thinking about all that oil not getting into the intake.
Well, tonight I decided to address the whistling feature that so many
of us seem to deal with, I took off my tb thinking I'm gonna see a
nice DRY inside...WRONG !! My LS6's insides were as wet as ever, WTF ?
My CH filter would always have a half teaspoon of oil in it, and I have
cleaned it out 3-4 times a week. Has anyone actually removed the tb
after a couple of weeks to check and see that the intake is dry ???
And yes I have triple checked the installation, arrow towards the intake in
the direction of flow. The filter is stained brown, but not blocked at all...
Has anyone checked if this setup REALLY works ??? I thought it was, now
I have plenty of wet evidence it doesn't :banghead:

You get oil through the fresh air tube as well. To do a complete install you need to have a filter on the tube that goes from the throttelbody to the passenger side valvecover not only on the PCV line.

[edit] If you still have oil in the intake after adding the fresh air tube filter the only place the oil could come from are piston blow by. You might want to check this thread: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=536610
