Alarms going off, 1999 Coupe
Recently, all the alarms have been going off, all guages go to zero, except alternator. Messages on message board run continuously. Took to dealer, said it was a body control module. Worked for a week, now doing it again about every 15-20 seconds. Also no power at all to passenger door. If I turn the vette off, and restart, alarms reset, but come back on. Taking vette back to dealer 5/12.03. Would like to have some working knowledge to be armed with. Thanks, Ken :banghead:

I don't know what may be causing the problem, maybe a bad or coroded cable to the pcm?
I would make sure that the dealer you are using does service a volume of Vettes or you may be in for a long repair. A week seems to be too long to find the first, no maybe wrong problem...

It's a 99 so take a look under the battery, if it's original it may be leaking acid. This was somewhat common and causes all kinds of issues because it burns through the wiring harness.

Also have them check for a clogged A/C drain. Water leaking on the computer is a bad thing (been there done that). You can check yourself - water on passenger footwell carpet...
