clutch problems/question
been away from my car for a couple of months and finally got home and took her out in the country today for some long awaited fun, dropped the hammer down of a sharp turn @ about 4000-4500rpm's in second gear, at fiirst i thought i broke her loose but realized the back end was stable, so that left on ly one thing... the clutch had slipped, after a few moments of deceleration i was sure of it when the smell hit me. took it easy for a little bit and continued on my way..never happened again. my 98' has about 28000 miles on it and only light mods..ie intake, etc. wtf!! when do stock clutches go bad and what would be a good aftermarket replacement for a weekend warrior with less than 400hp. thanks in advance. :flag :flag
