Go with the 3.90, and you will not be sorry! Best place to get it is from Paul at CORVETTES OF HOUSTON. Don't forget to get the heavy duty output shaft as well! Best of luck!
Assuming yours to be a MN6, go with the 4.10s and don't look back. As you are on the east coast, give East Coast Supercharging in NJ a call; they did mine and it has been great; no noise just lots of smiles. Not only do they do good work, they are nice people to deal with. Ask for Chris the owner and tell him I sent you. And yes, would recommend you go with the hardened output shaft as well; with it you will sleep better nights. Good luck with your choices.

Do you recall what the rpm's are on a M6 car at say, 70 mph, or 80 mph? I want some gears, but don't want it screamin' on the highway. 6th gear now is almost unusable below 80 mph. When are these gears gonna come down $$$ so i can get some? SCOTT
Guys, in my '98 at 75MPH, I am turning 1900RPMs with the 4.10s. That's really loafing and very little engine noise. In fact, there isn't any over the Corsa Tourings.

I'm gonna go with 3:73 gears if I ever change from my 3:42s. I'm not a dragger -- don't think that was what the Corvette was built for -- it's a road racing car. :smash:
Personally, I think that 4.10's might be a bit much for 400 rwhp. I'd probably go with the 3.90's. But the 4.10's are fine for freeway driving and you're not really taching out that much. I think I lose about 2mpg with the 4.10's versus the 3.42's. With either of those gears, 6th will be much more useful.
I have a 6 speed H/C+ and debated the 3.90 vs 4.10. I had 4.10s in my 96 stroked car, they were awesome. But I decided to go with 3.90s this time. Looking to retain some economy and less wear on the engine. Either will work well but I went with the 3.90s and have no regrets at all. Got them from Paul at COH. There is not a hint of noise.
:iagree: I have 390s to go with the h/c and blower at about 1900 to 2000 I am going 80mph, with the 342s I was going 90, 6th gear is a usable gear and after winding out 5th you will keep pulling in 6th, 390s or 410s pretty similar, 373's are just not that much lower for the amount of money you spend. Also the car is a lot easier to drive with the lower gears and lot less slipping the clutch to take off.
