Default Steam Clean Engine Question

I want to have my 99 C5 detailed and have the engine steam cleaned. Anyone have any comments or bad experiences, I'm a little nervous about screwing up the sensors.  :skep:

I regularly (weekly) steam clean the engine on my 03 as I live on a dirt road (yes we are looking to move because of the vette...**** huh?)

I just take care not to spray to much around the fuse box and air intake...but other wise in my 1 1/2 months of washing I haven't had an issue.

I used the garden hose and Simple Green on mine and didn't have any problems.

Most of the connectors under the hood have weather pack connectors. You should not have to worry about water damaging your sensors.

I'm OK with water from a hose.

But hot presurized steam? :nonod: :nono: Not me!
