Default Gas Pedal

Hello C5rs, I need help with the gas pedal. I am trying to replace it with a matching aluminum one. I called myself taking a look on how the old one was installed with the spring, but now I cannot get the new one on :( Does anyone know of how to put this pedal on, or go take a look at yours and tell me how the spring is installed? Thanks in advance!

Derrick

Before you take the original pedal off-----

1st-hold the pedal from the rear to hold on to all the parts that are attached to it.
2nd-with your other hand, pull the pin out very slowly.
3rd-look at how the spring is set up behind the pedal.
4th-take the spring and set it up exactly how it was on the original pedal and hold it exactly as you did when you were taking it off.
5th-slide the pin back into place and you are done.

it took me about 5 mins to do this. Hope it helps.

You might also find it convenient to utilize a small mirror to see the tension spring location B4 removing the pin.
