Just got home and the boxes were on my doorstep. I would love to install myself for the learning experience, but don't have access to a lift. Anyone know what I might expect to pay to have installed? Where to do it in North Florida?
$40 cash at a local repair shop that I know and trusted. He only wanted $25 but it took almost 40 minutes, so I thought that was too low.
Talk to a shop and tell and show them how easy it is.
I had my Corsa TigerShark exhaust and crossover pipe installed last week at the local Midas shop (a friend of mine is the owner). They charged me $65 for the whole job.
Any reputable exhaust shop can do it easily. I paid $75. I would suggest to ask each facility if they have done this sort of work before just to get a better sense of what your up against.
Which system and tips did you get?
They will emitt some exhaust smoke for a few hours as they burn off a protective film applied to the interior. And they will get LOUDER as you roll up some miles. Took mine about a week and one morning I started my car while my wife was standing behind the car in the garage and even she commented they got LOUDER.
And don't forget to polish up the tips to keep them looking new.

BE CAREFUL!!!!!! I took mine to a local muffler shop in town (Midas or Meineke- can't remember which one)- my exhaust is leaking. They didn't use gaskets and bolts that were too small. I am getting it done right now. Good luck.
I own an auto repair shop & have installed several sets of Corsa mufflers, we charge $50.00. If they have an X pipe we get $25.00. No need to cut the OE exhaust if you have a hoist. Also if they come back after a week or so for alignment of tail pipes its N/C.,sometimes we tack weld to assure no align. problems again N/C. :)
from forum it appears that best aftermarket installations are done at Norris Mortorsports in Orlando. Exhaust can be done anywhere though, as pretty normal but look for someone with experience as Corsa tips are hard to align in some cases, ala GTR.
And for polishing the tips, try Klasse All-in-One (Red Bottle) as it works super and keeps protecting for weeks. I use on my Chrome Wheels also !
Just got my Corsa Indy's installed today! But, I must admit I am a little disappointed. I really thought they would be a bit louder at idle and throatier as I accelerate.
Is it true they get louder with age? If so, how much..... I mean is it "really" noticeable?
I have the Corsa pace car exhaust. Tremendous sounds, loved it. Then I made the MAJOR MISTAKE and bought the X-Pipe. Now the wonderful sound is all but gone. I had called Corsa about the "popping" noise upon deceleration. They said it was because the GM "H-Pipe" couldn't handle the flow and that if I bought the X-Pipe the popping would 90% disappear. The tech also said the X-Pipe would enhance the sound. Well, the popping is 90% gone but unfortunately so is the sound. Now they say they never said what they said. Typical. They did mention that there is a "free flo" catalytic converter? available. I asked them about it but now that I have complained and argued with them they won't answer messages.
BE FOREWARNED, DO NOT BUY THE X-PIPE IF YOU WANT THE GREAT SOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad :mad :mad
