Default Drag Racing Tires?

What do you use on the rear of a 2000 for drag racing? The street tires on the rear of the car are 19". I haven't seen anyone listing 19" slicks or drag radials. Could I get a pair of 18" front wheels and use them on the rear? I have seen 18" drag radials.

BFG has just relased their 18 inch drag radials, check The Tire Rack to see if they have them in stock.

I use BFG drag Radials (315X35X17) until the 17" M/T are released.

factory rears are 18". You have four options when choosing drag tires"
1. you can go with 18" drag radials
2. you can go with 17" drag radials
3. you can go with 16" drag radials
4. you can go with 16" M/T ET Streets (slicks)

with 16" rims on the rear some grinding is required to make them fit.

stock factory rears are 18in. I have a set of 295/35/18 BFG drag radials that work pretty good...best to use 10.5 in. width rims and not the 9.5 rims.
