G-tech ET first attempt... any good??
Hey Guys'n'Gals... just got back from some more playtime with the G-tech :)
Try as a might, I can't get my 0-60 below 4.87. Flashing the converter results in 5.1x, whilst brake-stalling at anymore than 1,300rpm results in wheelspin. 4.87 has been repeated 3-times by brake-stalling at around 1,200rpm.
Tried my first ET... nice, flat stretch of well-surfaced road, ambient temp around 60-ish, coolant temp around 194. Only did one run, but really nailed the launch (0-60 in 4.87):
ET: 13.22s
Trap: 111.1mph
How does that sound? I'm stock A4 with 3.15 rear and K&N cone filter.
I was expecting a 13.4, so I'm pretty pleased :)
Going up the strip next weekend for the RWYB, so it'll be interesting to see what I can get with a better launch (more brake-stall) on a prepped surface :)
