I searched out what this means and have a new fuse to try when I get home. The dadeland Chevy guys wouldn't touch the car because Breathless had tapped into the a/c fuse for the autometer gauge power (according to Ernie they could've just taken the wire off and did their diagnostics! :mad ). I'm not sure if it is actually a fuse, I'm just going by what the dealer told my car-dumb wife- they made her feel pretty bad about bringing a modded car like mine in with the extd warranty! The only valuable thing I got was that they said power may not be getting to the a/c unit. When I pull the fuse is there any way to tell if the old fuse is bad or not? How likely is this problem to be the fuse. I know some guys said they had bad hoses or "O" ringg damage and the refrigerant leaked out.
Don't these GM dealerships get paid for the extd warranty work they do?
Well if it wasn't getting power why is the light blinking..? A flashing light usually means the freon charge is low. Might want to pull codes and see if it has set any.
Re: Air Conditioning Light Flashing (bowtiebandit)
Brought the car back in today the tech said he thinks it was an electrical problem. The wire that was used to pull power for the autometer aftermarket gauges was not the cause as they suggested. I tried changing the fuse 10 amp position 24. They report that the freon was completely full and no loss of pressure was found. I noticed that my gauges are not receiving power from that 10 amp fuse line so I'm figuring that slot in the fuse box is not receiving power. Breathless says that they always pull power from that fuse and nothing ever happens.

Re: Air Conditioning Light Flashing (urslooow)
I have experience this twice. First time it was the AC connection on the right (passenger) side (just in front of the dipstick). It got unplugged accidently. The second time was after washing my car. The outside temp sensor just needed to dry off or something. It corrected itself after a couple hours.
