is there a noticable difference between 3.73 gears and 3.42gears. theres some 3.73's on ebay cheap. i was thinking of swappin the ring and pinon out of the carrier and put in the 3.73's, but if theres not much of a difference i won't bother :cheers:

I went from 3.42s to 3.73s on my A4, and yes there is a noticeable difference in performance (about 2 tenths in the 1/4 mile). Your car will also perform better from a roll at all speeds.
