I need help with a couple of problems that have occured after h/c work.
1. while car sits at a stop light the rpms would drop lower than 500 and then bounce back to 900(reprogrammed to 900)----- solution, GM fuel injector cleaner.
2. now it has a hard time starting again after sitting for a short time(gas station) it turns over but will not stay running?
Could it be a clogged fuel filter or bad throttle body?
The car runs great while driving, plenty of get up.
thanks Dave
Dave, I would give the fuel filter a try. You don't say how many miles on your car. Nice Vert, BTW!
You may also have a tuner (or you if you have the programmer) go through your settings again. These crazy computers  somtimes have a mind of their own.

Re: clogged fuel filter? (NICEDRV)
Don't think it's going to be a relay. Sounds like something A/F related based on what you're saying. Could be an individual injector leaking or "puddling" causing erratic idling and an over-rich conditon on re-start. Definitely get the diagnosis from your tuner as to what's goin on here in the air/fuel department.

:iagree:
Also, usually when a filter goes (which is very seldom now days), at WOT the car will hesitate, but at normal throttle it runs good.
