When I drive slower that 40 MPH there is a distinct "clicking" sound coming from my Right front wheel.
I have taken the wheel off the car and found that I can nearly reproduce the sound by bouncing the wheel on the floor. The thing is, the sound only happens when I bounce the tire with the valve stem at about 8 o'clock. At other positions, there is only the sound of a bouncing tire.
the valve stem is made onto the sensor. I would guess that a piece of the plastic sensor has broken off and is tumbling inside the wheel or you have ran over something and it broke off inside the tire........Have the tire broken down and see whats inside........It's the only way you will know for sure....... :flag
This happened to me about a week after I brought my 99 home from the dealership. When I brought it back in, they told me that it had something to do with a damaged "backing plate"
