MMS is launching the release of its all new Aggressor Line of Camshafts. Our new cams use a unique lobe profile that will seperate us from the competition. MMS, first on the market with the Original 224 cam, raises the bar once again. Our all new 224 cam, as with all our new cams, uses our new spring saver technology lobe design. Power is important, but as we've learned and many have experienced it means nothing without reliability.
For a limited time MMS is offering these new cams at an exceptionally low price, but there is a catch. We'd like to get feedback from all that purchase them. We'd like to see before/after dynos, opinions on valvetrain noise, idle quality etc. It's great to see the #'s from the manufacturer or tuner, but it's even better to see the #'s from the people that matter most, the end user.
Here's the profiles and then the deal
MMS 218 Aggressor 218/218 .558/.558 114LSA
MMS 224 Aggressor 224/224 .570/.570 114LSA
MMS 224 Aggressor 224/224 .570/.570 112LSA
MMS 233 Aggressor 233/233 .578/.578 113LSA
MMS StgIB Aggressor 218/228 .558/.558 115LSA
MMS StgIIB Aggressor 224/233 .570/.578 115LSA
MMS StgIIIB Aggressor 233/244 .578/.602 115LSA (rec for big cube motors only)
For a limited time all cams are only $300 and are in limited quantities at this price.

Congrats to Mike and everyone at MMS who are never quite content to rest on their laurels and who continue to attempt to improve both performance and reliability for those of us who race like it really matters - because it does!
Jeff - don't fret - from what I hear, Andy can change a cam pretty quick! :yesnod:
Re: Like to try new things? Look inside!! (Carsnob)
Do these cams require upgrading any head components (i.e. springs, pushrods, etc...)?
How streetable is the least aggressive cam?
Yes upgraded springs are required. Our 218 cam is very mild. It doesn't idle much lopier than a 02 z06 cam. A 50rpm bump will put it close to stock as far as idle quality

I'm looking for something that will give me about 30rwhp with tuning that will be very streetable. I know you are testing, but do you think this cam meet those requirements? Or would I need to go up a notch or two in aggressiveness?
Re: Like to try new things? Look inside!! (calivette)
We have a lot of dyno testing on earlier versions of our 218 cam. Gains on a cam only swap on an LS1 is worth about 25-35 RWHP. With tuning you may get another 10+ RWHP.
All of our 218's have passed tailpipe in the past. I don't forsee any changes with the latest

Ok, now I'm very interested. Two more quick questions. What should this do to my torque. I'm a torque junkie and don't want to lose any down low.
Second, will I be able to raise my rev limiter (to say 6500rpm) with the new cam/spring combo?
