Default Question about exhaust

Hi, new to the board

Just bought a 03' CPE, the Z06 was a tad more than i could afford.

I was thinking of getting some exhaust to get a deeper sound and possibly increase performance. Was looking at the Borla Stingers, is there a particular model that is preferred? Who has the best pricing?

Also, i keep hearing about CAT and X-pipes. I'm a total mech iliterate so can someone explain what they are.

TIA

I can't help you out with the Borlas but LAPD is trying to put together a group purchase special for the Magnaflow exhaust. It might be worth it to check that out.

If you like a DEEP RUMBLE, the Borla's are a great choice! Supporting tuner claims they are worth around 8 HP. I wouldn't mess with the cats or H pipe unless you plan on a H/C change. Good Luck!
