I had a turbocharged 99 GT that ran mid 11s @ over 120 mph on pump gas. I'm looking to duplicate this performance but N/A. I plan to purchase an 01 C5 A4 and get the following mods.
Stage II Ported & Polished heads, cam, & LS6(if possible) intake.
3.73 gears with 2800 stall multi-disc converter locked at the top of 2nd gear, trans cooler and shift kit.
Tuned PCM by Vette Doctors(They are local)
I know the car would run very well, but what do you estimate would be the ET(on street tires-radials or drag radials) and trapspeed?
I'm far from an expert on the LS1 cars, but I have always wanted a Corvette and I plan to get one within a year. Thanks for your help.
Re: How much power can I make with this combo? (99GTtoC5)
Without knowing the specs on the cam you are using it is difficult to quess what kind of times you would be able to run. But off the top of my head I would say high to mid 11s with a good set of drag radials. IMHO forget about running with street tires, I would also consider going with a converter with more stall, I would go with a converter with at least 3500 stall.

By buying from the Vette Doctors they should be able to build you a N/A 11 second beast without a problem.
Stroke it into the 10's
