LS6 Cam question (pushrod)
Ok I did it installed an 02 Ls6 in my 00. I know alot of people say it is a waste of time for the amount of power, but it was in my budget and came across a good deal. My question is I am running the stock pushrods and it runs fine. when I bought the cam the longer pushrods, should I put the longer push rods in? I mean are the valves being opened to the full lift if I am still running the shorter pushrods??

Valves should open all the way with no problem. The problem is rocker arm geometry. I would definitely add the longer pushrods. GM thought it was worth the expense of using longer valves to keep everything in alignment.

I changed them this morning, what a difference. oK Ok your thinking I am nutz, but there is defiently a difference first louder valve train noise and from 2500 and up it revs way faster. :thumbs:
