I was wondering if there are any major or noticeable differences between the two? Was thinking of upgrading to the Frt & Rr Z06 Stabilizer Bars, Frt & Rr Aluminum End Links, Frt & Rr Bushings?
Is it worth to do it, or should I save my money for other mods?
Re: Differences between C5 & Z06 Stabilizer Packages (88sk)
I had the standard set up...switched to Z06 bars ('03) from Ken Fichtner Chevrolet...it does not change ride quality at all...no harshness, none!
It does turn in better and seems more buttoned up...I think it's worth it from standard to Z06...  :grouphug: :hurray: :chevy :seeya
Re: Differences between C5 & Z06 Stabilizer Packages (silversport)
I think going from Z51 to Z06 will be a minimal improvement, unless you are a very experienced racer or autocrosser.
I am neither of the above, but when I went from FE1 to Z51 bars and Bilstein Sport shocks, the difference was amazing. Just went from runflats on C5 rims to GY Supercars on Z06 size rims...I think I've reached nirvana (until I get a flat!)
Re: Differences between C5 & Z06 Stabilizer Packages (vic kovner)
On my 98 Z51 car. I went to the Z06 front bar, and already had the aluminum links. I noticed a very very subtle difference, alittle firmer. I don't think it was worth the change, but then again, every little bit helps. A bigger difference was going to the Biltstein Sport shocks over the Z51 shocks.

I too spent the $270 and bought my Z06 bars from Ken Fichtner. Vastly improved cornering over the base suspension. With the new Michelins I think I might be able to take the Bilstein Sports.
No alignment is required/needed replacing the bars or shocks.
