Default [Pic] Should I be concerned???

:skep: :skep: :skep: :skep: :skep: :skep: :skep: :skep:

I changed my oil when I got home from the Cruise In, and found this on my mag. drain plug. The car ran fine all week, and I haven't noticed any unusual noises or problems...yet. :skep: Maybe I should change the oil again soon??....any thoughts?

The car is an '03 Z06 with 5,000 miles.

Thanks. :seeya

I wouldn't worry about it. With 5K on the motor, its just breaking in.

I just changed the oil recently on my new motor and it was loaded up like that too. Wade said it's no biggie :)

If that is all you have on your magnetic drainplug with only 5,000 miles on the car, you are laughing! :D

No need to be concerned. Very normal, especially on motors with low mileage.

Yup, :iagree: I have a 98 and the first change or two had similiar "stuff". I now have 100600 miles and she runs like the day I bought her! Just keep those changes regular and it should be clean as a daisy by the third change. :D
