Related to the AH/TC system on an 03 Z06. Nothing in reference in code listings on this forum or older service manuals refers to these codes
Don't know if this will help but according to my 98 service manual C1248 is a low master cylinder fluid level. I don't have a C1254. C1255 is realted to the EBTCM (ABS Brake Control Module and Brake Pressure Modulator Valve - BPMV).
C1248 Dynamic Rear Proportioning DRP disabled. Several things can set this code including: if C1254 is set, brake warning indicator due to low brake fluid in master cylinder, several others. (page 5-153 in 2003 manual)
C1254 DTC is set when the microprocessor compares a periodic checksum to a running checksum and finds they do not match. The checksums are areas of the computer's memory that hold critical operational data. Possible causes include: loss of battery ground, disconnected battery, computer malfunctions, sudden drop in system voltage below 5 volts, long extended engine cranks that cause battery voltage to drop, poor power or ground connections.
You should have gotten Service ABS, Service Traction System, Service Active Handling, red brake warning indicator on, etc. (Also sets C1248) Page 5-154 of 2003 manual. Hope this helps.
