Headlight door problem

 Ride On :chevy

lift the hood you will see two torq screw ( Black ) to the rear of the headlamp door (toward the back of the car ) remove these ( Make sure you use a # 15 Torq driver not a phillips here) ... then locate the black headlight bulb shroud.. (pastic .. the thing with the round plugs about the size of a silver dollar)it is held inplace by three phillips screws one is outboeard and two are inboard.. ( remove these and note !! at the top.. there is a flange of plastic that fits in a grove when you reassemble this part.,.. make sure the black plastic flange firs back where it was removed.,.. Pull off the black plastic shroud... thern you will see two # 15 torque screws ( One on either side..) remove these and carefully lift off the painted headlamp door cover.. Below thisd cover you will see four adjusters , one for each corner of the headlamp cover.. make your adjustments and reverse the proceedure to replace.. ( becareful when you close te hood .. make sure you have enough clearance so the hood doesnt hit the hoeadlamp door.. check the down and up.. clearance also.. Good Luck..... this is an easy fix..
