Default Underdrive Pulley Continued..

Well I finally got around to calling ATI today and ordered a pulley. (EDIT) I called back and confirmed the price as I was misquoted on the phone.. Yep - I paid 502.00 + 12.00 for a new bolt..

The only think I am concerned about now - it Phil97SVT mentioned in a previous thread that you will need a new "seal" for the ATI aluminum pulley to work "properly". Can somone elaborate on this? What seal is needed and why?

If you ordered the complete aluminum pulley you will need to contact Dave Farmer and see what P/N for the new front cover seal. The factory seal will eat the aluminum hub. Now if you recieved the steel hub with aluminum pulley you can use the factory seal.

After speaking with ATI again - they said that the stock seal is fine as the hub is steel - so the stock seal will work too..

Any other thoughts?
