Picked up my 03 coupe from Jayson(MTI) and all I can say is Jayson did a fantastic job. Jayson...you da man! Over 400 rwhp with a stealth cam and but for the exaust tips you can hardly tell anything was done. Money well spent. If you are considering any mods you should seriously consider MTI, a real class act.
Congrats. Maybe next time I am in town we can get together to compare cars. I would love to see how that thing feels and sounds. My car is currently in Lafayette for the next few weeks until I can drive down to pick it up. I just had LGM complete their setup with their G5X2 Cam which is very noticeable.. also I am assuming you have a 6 speed and not an A4 correct?
Regardless.. Have fun.. I know I was Saturday night and yesterday afternoon before flying back to MN. The Ambassador Caffery Extension is just so tempting ;)
Re: New modifications complete....WOW (MC TORCH RED)
head cam pkg, tpis headers, ram air induction, corsa touring exhaust, yank 3500 t/c, 3.42 rear, throttle body port and polish, under drive pulley, plugs and wires( accessory kit) and lowered about 1 inch. I think that's it. Wheels ( Fikse profil 5s on the way with Michelin sports).
You made the right decision; BTW, I think we met at MTI. I'm the big ugly guy with the beard who was in the PT Cruiser Turbo.
You are right, we did meet the day I dropped it off. Your wife took your vette. You were right about the modifications and it was comforting to be able to talk to someone who had done what I was contemplating (although if I recall correctly, you have a super charge in addition to what I did). Are you going to Nashville? Looking to hook up with a group to make the trip.
