1. Jack up front
2. Disconnect Battery
3. Remove the Passenger side front wheel
4. Unbolt the access panel on the rear of the wheel well.. (half dozen or so screws)
5. The PCM is now visible and accessable and can be removed. (Silver box with cooling fins on it)

Be VERY careful removing the computer located just inside the passenger side front wheel shroud, especially living in a cold climate where corrosives like street salt and dirt can get into the area. The plastic bracket that holds the PCM in place can stick and crack when removing. Be gentle and take your time. Sometimes it breaks anyway. Otherwise there are a couple of larger connectors attached..pull them first and don't forget to disconnect the battery..:D

:iagree: with Chuckster.
However that is the easy part. You will have to take out the small 5/16" screw that holds the back of the lower fender to the car....this way you can pull out on it. There is a 5/16" screw that is very difficult to get too in the back. There are only two scews on the bracket that hold the PCM in place. Take out the connector bolts and pull the connectors out of the way first. Be very careful pulling the PCM out of the FIBERGLASS bracket assembly....it BREAKS very easy. Good luck.

:iagree: with Vstella too..he posted at the same time as me..

:mad :mad :mad :mad ...cheap butt fiberglass bracket..yes sometimes it does break anyway.
