depends on the application. I have 525 RWHP on the juice, but I use a wet kit. The stock injectors are fine (28.5#). If you were to do a turbo dry N2O, or S/C application, then you would need to upgrade the injectors. KingPin's twinturbo set up uses 50# injectors.
From what I've seen, each individual car is different. My LT1 made 415 RWHP with 24 lb injectors, and all the formulas say it shouldn't. The best way to tell is to make your mods and scan/dyno tune the car to see if you are getting enough fuel or are going lean, and to see what the duty cycles are.
Obviously, you won't make 600 NA RWHP with stock injectors :) There are some formulas there, that are good guidlines:
Injectors too big may cause drivability issues, as at low RPM or part throttle, the injectors would be on for too short of a time to properly control the fuel.
