I recently bought a 1998 C5 coupe. I want to add an extra 12v line to hang out on the passenger side of the center consol. I have this arrangement on my 1988 C4 coupe. The purpose is so that I can plug my radar/lasar detector in without using the ashtray outlet. This allows that lid 2 stay closed and the power line does not have to go across anything. Can anyone tell me how to tie into a power line in this area that will not effect any of the electronics or require removing a lot of the dash? Thanks.
