I'm in the process of fighting with my locked steering while to get it to possibly unlock, and during the "yank and turn key" process, on about the 4th try, my windshield wipers start moving.
I can't get this to stop now.
I need to find a way to fix my brake lights in the back too, where all of my round lights will show up, not just my middle brake light.
My active handling button has worked some whenever I press it on or off, and then it's went ballistic and flashed on and off at cruising speed (70)
One last thing that I've noticed so far, my windows are working fine now - BUT, the driver's side window was not rolling up or down unless I had the door opened completely.
I don't know the first thing about anything electrical/computer related. Is there something I can check...can someone at least steer me in the right direction?
Re: I Need Some Major Electrical Help (CandaceBell)
Pull the codes from the DIC. I'd bet good money the PCM or BCM is still wet from when the A/C overflowed and that's what's screwy. Also, you might want to pull the battery and make sure it hasn't leaked on the PCM as well.

DIC? The only codes I'm getting are the "Pull Key, Wait 10 Seconds" and "Service Steering Column" I'm not seeing any other type of codes.
Re: I Need Some Major Electrical Help (CandaceBell)
DIC=Drivers Information Center On the corvette, you do not need Autotap to pull the trouble codes. You can go through the DIC (that's where your odometer and other stuff reads out on the dash) and pull the codes as follows.
With the key on hold down the options button and at the same time hit the fuel button 4 times. This will start the automatic diagnosis, hit the reset button and it will bypass the auto and put you in manual. As the # of codes is displayed hold the reset button until it clears the code or codes. If you want to read the codes first press the gages button. To scroll to the next code use the option button. When you are done press the E/M button and it will clear the DIC or turn the key off.
Try that and post the trouble codes here and I will see if I can help. I should be online tonight so you can IM me as well.

U1064 Lose of Communications with DCM
B2284 Battery #2 Fault DCM-LEFT
U1096 Loss of Communications with IPC
U1016 Loss of Communication with PCM
Seems something could have shorted out when the A/C overflowed. I'm not sure, I've never seen those codes before. Maybe someone else can chine in?
The U1016, 1064 and 1096 codes are not really a big deal. I've been getting those codes, off and on, since I've had my car. They should all have an "H" after them indicating it is a "History" code and not a "current" code. You can reset them if you like but they still seem to eventually to come back.
The 2284 code and the DCM (Door Control Module) code however bear looking into in greater detail. If you have had water into the BCM area from your A/C condensation overflowing into the passenger side footwell, then this could definitely be the source of some problems.
