Auto Headlights/after the fact
Has anyone added auto headlights to a C5. I understand it was available as an option in 2000 but could it be simply added?
My other cars have this feature and I now am used to it. :yesnod:

Just something to think about. If you are talking about twighlight Sentinal, all Canadian cars have them mandatory. I like them on our other two cars, but on the Vette the headlights pop up way too early at night and way too late in the morning. I modded mine to let me say when they go on and when they stay off. :yesnod: :smash: :smash:

I thought the auto headlight feature was an option on all C5s (?)
My 2001 Coupe had that feature that you could activate or turn off with the DIC.
I activated it on my Z06 (wasn't an option to order) by following the directions I found on the forum.

Daylight lights sensor 12450121 $12
Had to buy and install the sensor in the grille in the middle of the dash. Pry it up carefully with a small thin screwdriver. Sensor twists 90 degrees into the holder hole. The two wire harness is hanging down underneath. Remove the panel above the driver's toes to find it and fish it up to the grille area.
