C5 Shifting issues
When shifting my corvette it feels *rough* moving between certain gears, at the shifter. There are no grinding noises or difficulty with the clutch, its using the shifter and it almost feels like the shifter is providing the resistance. Sometimes it doesn't even like going into first gear without first moving through other gears, often going into the reverse gear fixes the problem. Sure that freak out the people behind me at a stop light.
It seems like its gradually getting worse and I would like to get it fixed but I like to have an idea of what I am in for financial wise for budgeting reasons. I hate the just bring it in we can tear into your transmission and figure it out statement, someone has to be able to make an educated guess from the symptoms.
Thanks in advance

I am not a very mechanical person, but I assume that means release the fluid? More than likely I will take it in and have someone do it, what would something like this run?
I dont have the setup or knowledge to tinker too much under my vette, which handcuffs me unfortunately.
